What is Justice:

Justice is a set of core values on which to build a society and the state, these values are; respect, fairness, equality and freedom.

Justice informal sense is the set of codified rules applied by judges to rape the State dispenses justice by suppressing the action or inaction that led the involvement of the common good.

The word comes from the Latin Justice iustitia means fair, and derives from the word ius.

Social Justice

Social justice is the balanced distribution of wealth within a society. This term arose in the nineteenth century with the emergence of capitalism, which the discontent of the most disadvantaged social classes increased, it is for this reason that the term social justice, has two streams, for socialists the state must ensure the development of the most disadvantaged social class and respect for human rights and liberalism holds the development of opportunity and protection to private enterprise.

Currently, social justice is linked to the term of distributive justice of Aristotle, it is give each corresponding basis its contribution to society. As opposed to distributive justice there is retributive punishment or penalty is applied to a person in proportion to the offense committed by it.

In 2007, the Organization of the United Nations proclaimed the 20th of February every year as World Day of Social Justice.

Justice as value is the moral principle of each person who chooses life giving everyone what belongs or pertains. Seeks justice as self value and society well.

Divine justice is to justice carried out by God. For Christians Is God who has the power to exercise divine justice because he can punish or reward men according to their merits.

Justice Philosophy

justice philosophy is a definition that varies thought of every philosopher. Plato said that the individual should leave the darkness of the cave of ignorance, that is, the person becomes just the same extent as it knows, therefore, who has more knowledge can be fairer, which translates an idea that rulers must have extensive knowledge to know how govern and to really do justice. The philosopher Aristotle defined justice to every citizen what corresponds to your needs and contribution to society. While Kant said that the justice of a State must ensure three fundamental principles; the freedom of individuals, including equality and independence of each member of a community. As Kelsen indicated a natural law prevailing over positive law because if it goes against the fundamental rights of human beings can not speak of justice.

"Justice is blind"

is a term originated by the representation and justice is a woman wearing blindfold, a pair scales in one hand and a sword in the other. Blindfolded emphasize that justice does not look at people, but justice is equal for all.
